Exactly 4 weeks from today I will be leaving.
Holy mother of god. When I think of it like this, my mind starts to freak out.
Literally 28 days seperates me from the summer of my life. I remember applying to programs and being sent on a wild goose chase to get things signed and approvals. And here I am now with 28 days to go.
banana and strawberry milk, i will drink it all this summer.
korea knows whats good in life= flavored milk.

this is my excited face:
it’s so close, yet still so far.
but before the time comes the like 5 of us (and whoever else ends up on the same flight) need to exchange numbers or something so we dont end up all in the waiting area awkwardly not speaking, because that would be, well awkward (but also hilarious)
well the party just got bigger.
5 of us now flying out of Detroit.

had to re-pick my kuisc classes. didnt realize the two non klanguage classes were at the same time. whoopsie.
but made it work so i can still take intro to film music. now im just taking back to back classes with the same prof.
random but,
so in korea you dont wear your shoes inside the house, instead you wear slippers. so i kind of want to get a cute pair of slippers to take with me. possibly.
im going to create lists
lists of historical places i want to see, museums i want to go to, and then a random list of restaurants/stores/etc
that way i can have something to do productive and that i can use for my independent study stuff.
okay cool.
countdown begins: 45 days
In 45 days I will be on my way to Seoul, stopping in Detroit first though. The journey of a lifetime and a chance I will most likely never have again. I’m excited to meet the people in my classes, the people in my dorm and I’m ready to explore a city/country that I have never explored.
This blog will become more used as the time gets closer. I’ll probably start to make some lists of things I want to do/things I want to see and I’ll try to keep it updated when/if I do them.

just accepted 2grand more in loans. waiting for it to appear in my higher one and then i can make my final payment to globalinks. korea, im more excited than words to experience you!
